Job Description
AmaWaterways is looking for an energetic and multilingual Entertainment Host to engage guests on scenic river cruise itineraries across Europe. You will create memorable moments for passengers as they sail through iconic European waterways.
Responsibilities
- Host and facilitate daily onboard activities, games, and cultural programs
- Welcome guests at events, shore excursion briefings, and evening entertainment
- Animate deck activities, quiz nights, and themed social events
- Assist with embarkation welcomes and daily schedule announcements
- Support the Cruise Director in planning weekly programming
- Engage with guests in multiple languages where possible
Requirements
- Experience in animation, entertainment, events, or guest engagement roles
- Outgoing, confident, and culturally sensitive personality
- Fluent English; French, German, or Dutch a strong advantage
- Comfortable speaking and presenting in front of audiences
- Valid passport with at least 18 months validity
